You have just rented your bike and found out that cycling is one of the best activities on the Ile de Ré ? Wait until you pass an oyster farm and an oyster shack on the Ile de Ré to stop and savor the products of the sea.
If you are on the terrace of a restaurant overlooking the port, ask the waiter to help you find a wine from the Ile de Ré to accompany your crab, shrimp, shellfish or oysters.
Goat cheese and AOC potatoes are also among the best specialties of the Retaise gastronomy.
